hey nik, i am a 13 year old WR with big dreams that wants to play n the CFL some day.now i am a riderfan, but i just wanted to say i really apreciate all the stuff u do on and off the Feild,i saw that story on the Calagary stamps site titeled "moms touch, means so much" and i thought, haha my mom always says, "when ur in the big leage, i want u to remember me, and remember , i brought u into this worl i can take u out " and i was wondering if u had some tips for me spo i can make it into the CFl someday. any ways, congrats on ur grey cup victory! and u ahve tot me , you gotta remember your mom. Hey, First I want to say thank you. Its okay to be a rider fan because the riders have really good fans. The first tip that comes to mind is that if you want to make it to this level; you have to stay out of trouble. You have to hang around people that can help you get to your destination, and not friends who take you away from your path. There will be a lot of ups and downs, and you have to depend on your families strenght to get you through it. I always depended on God to lead me in the right direction. I know the Article was about my mother, but it was a lot more people that helped me get here. My Grandmother, Sisters and brother, Dad, and Stepmom, cousins, and a great set of friends that never let me down. Football is the easy part, but you have to survive the struggle. That means when you have bad days or big decisions to make; you have to make them and live with them and keep moving forward. As far as tips at WR you have to keep doing things until it becomes easy. It might get boring, but the biggest thing in playing that position is being consistant. You have to be able to catch the ball and run good routes, and catch the ball with your hands. I am glad that you took the time to write me at my website. I hope to see you get drafted one day. Good Luck, and Your Mother's Love will take you a long way.

Congradulations on last season, I was at the Grey Cup and it was an awesome experience watching you guys take it from them. What kinds of things can you take from last year into the upcoming season? Also, how can you keep yourselves grounded in order to prevent a "Championship hangover" for next year? Looking forward to seeing you in the 2009 season

I honestly feel more motivated now then I ever did because I know what the feeling is like to win it. I can take a lot of from last year into this year. I have a different mind set that allows me to go out and try to dominate the person across from me. I know now in my mind that I can make the plays in the big game. In previous playoff games I never really had a chance to get the ball alot, and in the Grey Cup I had 11 catches.. I know this team can do it with the great coaching, and its just not hype anymore. Its a reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for coming to the game and support The Best Team in the CFL.
