Nik's Responses : April 15, 2008 From Alif Bharmal: Ok, I will be back in Calgary in the middle of May) Nik L. From Brad Barsi Hi Nik, Just wondering what your take is on the changes the Stamps have seen this past offseason? New coaches in place as well as some free agent signings give this team a very different look. I think the Stamps will be an improved team, but will not contend this year. What is your take? Brad BTW...I think it would be great to see you in a Sask uniform. First I would like to say thanks for checking out my website. Second, I think the Stamps as a team has moved into to a better position to contend in the West. Our offense has been really good the last three seasons. Last year our Defense was young and learning the game. By getting JoJuan Armour is big for our defense. I was actually involved in the signing of him. I talked to him a couple of times on the phone to see where his head was. I expressed to him that we have a young Defense that needs a leader (don't get me wrong Brian Clark was a great leader). JoJaun brings a lot of passion to the field as well as a player that wants to win. I think picking him up and Jermesse Jones will help our team a lot. I also believe after talking to the new coaching staff that we are headed into a new direction. I can honestly see us among the best in the league. Now it is just time to go out and prove it. As far as me wearing a Sask jersey I really don't see it happening, but it is sports and you never know whats going to happen year to year. I feel really confident that I will play my final game the same place I played my first game ( In Calgary). Nik L.
Good work Nik this is a great cause and to honor your fahter is fitting. I hope you are enjoying the new house in Fort Worth ! And thanks for coming to our tail gate when the dreaded Riders were in town. I am a friend of Rick Morris. No problem on me coming to the tail gate party. Thank you for coming out and supporting us. The charity origanted as 82 Angels Next Door, but after my granddad died this past December I thought that it was only fitting for me to name it after him. I only hope that the charity can be as successful as he was, and help others the way he did. Nik L. From Sheldon Napastuk: Nik, Good looking site. Best of Luck to you and the boys this year.
