"What does it take"

What does it take for us personally to look in the mirror and feel successful. As I sit and think about success it is hard to feel successful. Am I successful because I am make more money then I thought I would, or am I successful because I have a beautiful woman that I can wake up next to most mornings. I believe for me personally its hard to look in the mirror and say that I am successful because it can all be taken away so fast. Then I wouldn't have what I have now, and that would leave me with nothing. We as people work so hard to make a great life for ourselves, but we are never really happy with where we are at in life. Success can mean a lot of different things, and at this point in life I believe that success is starting to mean to live without worry. Either finacial, or relationship, or any other type of worry in your life. Nobody has a perfect life from the richest to the poorest, but there is a wide gap from ones success to the other. Is success getting what you don't have, or do we as people need to give ourselves more credit for being something in life and just be satisfied. Can you look in the mirror today and say that your satisfied with your life, or do you feel that you have a long way to go to be successful. Please comment and let me know how you feel. Your thoughts could help me clarify the situation more.

The Journey

In life we tend to always focus on the past and the future and we never focus on the now. It is all about the journey, and making our way to wherever we want to go. There are so many paths to take, and so many ways to get there. I believe that if we throw all of the thoughts out of our heads from the past and future you will be successful. If we make a decision and focus on that decision instead of thinking of what will happen after the decision is made; it will have more of a chance to succeed. The first thing to fail us are our minds (with self doubt, and fear), and others from their own perspective. Everyone takes different paths so its real hard for someone else to tell you that your way won't work. By focusing on now, we will put more effort into it because it will not bother us if it is going to fail or not. We will be able to do more then we ever thought we could do because for the first time we put everything into now. There is a movie that is out now and its called Peaceful Warrior, and this is a great movie. If you understand what I am saying or if you don't, and want to understand what I am saying rent this movie. Life can be far greater then we think. We are always taught that nothing is promised to us, and for me that meant never putting everything in it. Our mind and body is amazing, but think about how much more you can get out of yourself if you just committed yourself to something 100%. In the movie they call it throwing out the junk in your mind. The movie is based on true events. Also, I just want to challenge you today to enjoy the journey to wherever you are going. It means nothing to get to the top if you didn't enjoy the journey to get there. My Thoughts, Your Time, Thanks For Reading.

Inspiration

I would like to start out by stating that I thank all of those that I have played sports with in my life. I am at a point in my life were I never thought I would be. Playing pro football is a dream for a lot of people, and many don't make it. Some get hurt, some don't get the opportunity, some make bad decisions, and some just aren't good enough. I was truely blessed and put in a lot of work to get to were I am today. My inspiration comes from all of those that I have played sports with. To watch someone have the drive to go out and compete week in and week out, and to play along side of them was a honor for me. I remember my high school years and college years, and all the fun that we had preparing to take the field together. It was you that pushed me to be better and become the player I am today. Mornings when I don't want to wake up and workout I think of you, and know that I represent every athlete that I ever played beside. When I am on the field and I am tired I think of you for it is the thought of you that gives me strength. So for all of you I would like to say once again, Thank You!!!!!! You have made my life a dream.
