I just want to thank all of the Calgary fans for backing us this year.  To the ones that came to the game: Thanks, it was a great game to be at.  To the ones that missed it, this team and I will do our best to make sure you get to see us in the game next year. 

I know a lot has been going on about us whining.  Well, I don't whine, and I don't need to.  Shannon James and I would tell each other every day "Should Have Been An All-Star".  It was always joking! Example:  I would see him would miss a play or something at practice and I would yell should have been an All-Star, or something funny would happen and he would say it to me.  For most guys who aren't in the highest paid bracket in the league they could use the All-Star money.  I am not saying I don't want it because I do.  I finished number two in yards my second year, and didn't make All-Star.  It just gives me the opportunity to work hard to achieve something else.  I am still motivated to win games. 

After this year I realize how good it feels to step on the field believing 100% your going to win and win.  I feel more motivated then I have in the past years.  At first I thought winning the Grey Cup was just about this team, but after having it and carrying it around town for the last couple of weeks and seeing the reaction of the fans has made me change that thougth.  Calgary is a wonderful city to play football in, and I am so glad that I was able to be apart of this team, and help this city bring the Cup home.  I think of a lot of players in all sports that never gets to know what it feels like to win the championship. 

Now, I want to know what it's like to win back to back Championships and with the fans support, and my family's support I know that it is very possible.
