There has been something on my mind lately and I would like to thank you for helping me get it off with this blog. I look around the locker room and I notice a lot of guys with talent. I know your saying to yourself right now every team has talent. I look at all the teams realistically and I know that ours has more then any team in the league. Talent doesn't always translate into victories, but it gives you a great chance to win every week. I think back to the last NFL, and NBA season and notice the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. These two teams had talent and went out and dominated week in and week out. Patriots Defense gave up yards, but held teams to field goals. The Celtics had great scores, but they lead the way with their defense. I tried to watch every game of the Patriots last year because I wanted to learn how to get the edge to go out and dominate a game. I really believe that we would be the closes thing to the Patriots in this league. The one thing that stands out is that we don't go out and dominate games. We go out and dominate drives, but not games. All I could think about last year watching those other two teams play was just how much fun that was. Winning games are not easy, and they made it seem effortless. Teams just can't show up to games and expect the other teams to give them the game. Then I look at the RIDERS, and see an undefeated team. This team has a solid defense, and an offense that doesn't turn the ball over. That goes a long way in staying undefeated in this league. I know how hard it is to go out and win games, but I also know how easy it can be to go out and win games. It is time that the Calgary Stampeders take the role as the best team in the league. That doesn't mean beat the riders twice, it means dominate every team in the league. It means use the talent that we have and translate it into victories.

The New England Patriots were the most talented team, but lost the Super Bowl, and on the other hand The Celtics was the most talented team and won the NBA Championship. I wonder what will happen to the most talented team in the CFL. Go Stamps Go.
